The pattern
Nobody scales to nine figures on ads anymore. They scale on creators.
Three brands, three categories, one shape. Each line goes vertical at the point creators stopped being a line item in the budget and became the channel.
AG1
Nine years as a cult product almost nobody had heard of. Then they put one green powder inside every podcast their customer was already listening to, and the line stopped being a line.
- ~60× revenue, 2019 → 2024
- 21,897 podcast episodes sponsored
- $1.2B valuation, Jan 2025

| 2020 | ~$35M | Reported 250% growth over 2019 |

Grüns
No slow build to skip past. Creators weren't a channel they bolted on in year three, they were the launch. Unilever bought the whole company 32 months in.
- 32 mo launch to a $1.2B exit
- $25M in a single month, year two
- 650 creators contacted every week

One weighted hoodie. Five thousand micro-creators with 5–20K followers each. That army made it the number one apparel brand on TikTok Shop in the US.

Most Brands fail to scale Influencers
Your report ranked the wrong people.
Last month. Five influencers. The discount code caught $6.2k of a $56.3k month.
Every hire, payout and drop was made off the left column.
Three things it costs you.
You scale the wrong influencers.
−$24.1kLuxy's code caught $1.1k of her $24.1k. Sam's caught $2.1k of her $2.9k. Sam got the product. Luxy got dropped.
Working influencers lose interest.
23 daysPayouts happen by hand, so they slip. Luxy waited 23 days for $2,340. Her last post was 19 days ago.
No oversight.
11 DMsWho earned what, which refunds came back, who still owes: one spreadsheet, and only you can read it.
But…
this is the new paradigm.
- 01Know who sold it. Accurately.
- 02Pay who earned it.
- 03Scale who wins.
- Repeat.
This keeps your influencers motivated, you in control, and your program a money printer.
How? Three signals. One name.
Any one of them is enough.
Most apps only see the discount code, or a cookie on one browser.
Tapped on her phone. Bought on her laptop. Never typed the code. The sale still has a name.
Once it is running
The program, without the spreadsheet.
One app for names, payouts, refunds and who is still owed.
- Track who sold what.
- Pay one click, or monthly.
- Claw back refunds net off.
- Tier set once.
- Onboard they join themselves.

Do I need a developer?
No. You install it from the Shopify App Store like any other app. Nothing is added to your theme, and most stores have their first creator set up the same afternoon.
How do creators actually get paid?
They connect their own Stripe account when they sign up. You either approve payday in one click or set it to run weekly or monthly on its own. You never see or handle anyone's bank details.
I already work with creators. Can I move them over?
Yes. Send them your join link, approve them, and they keep working the way they already do. Their new code and link are created for them.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Nothing was added to your theme, so there is nothing to remove. Your orders stay in Shopify as they were, and your tracking data stays yours.
